Younique^® at Formica Group enriches the school environment with unique door design

Younique^® by Formica Group has been used in the new upper secondary school, Newfield and the special school Talbot, Sheffield. The Formica Group team worked closely with Leaderflush Shapland's smooth quality doors, and together they created tailor-made design and High Pressure Laminate (HPL) door faucets with consistent color coordinating with the surrounding interior.

The new training facilities include premises for admission, dance and drama, a gym and fitness suite and a 'Global Conference Centre'. Each subject area in the school is defined by customised graphics representing the area concerned, such as a node design on the doors of the aula and a paint brush design to the molding rooms.

The beautiful graphics and vibrant colors create some bright and inviting surroundings and the designs make it easy for the students to get around at school. Benefits to the students have been realised through an increase in both staff and pupil attendance and improved academic results.

Newfield School, designed by HLM Architects, has room for 1050 students and Talbot is an innovative special school for young students with complicated learning difficulties.

Younique City Formica Group Service has a dedicated team that offers product support and extensive knowledge of HPL. This service can deliver an almost infinite number of unique designs encapsulated on HPL, enabling the designer to create a unique pattern or design, propagate a photograph or reproduce a corporate logo.
