Recruitment 1920x700

Recruitment

The Formica Group team is committed to making the job application process as easy as possible for you, and will ensure that you are kept fully informed about the status of your application at all times.

1. Application

All applications should be submitted online as specified in our job adverts. We have kept the online application system simple. At this stage you only need to answer a few straightforward questions and submit your answers with your covering letter and CV. Your application is then linked to the job you are applying for and immediately visible to our recruitment team. As soon as we receive your application, you will be sent a confirmation email. Once you’ve applied online you can keep track of your application at any time by logging in and checking the status of your application.

2. Phone Interview

If you meet our initial criteria you will be contacted for a phone interview. This is the best time for you to ask questions and find out if you are suitable for the position. If you are suitable and interested, the next stage is for the consultant to present your background and skills to the hiring manager within Formica.

3. Face to Face or Video Interview

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to attend a face-to-face or video interview, dependent on location, which may be with the consultant or directly with the hiring manager. If your interview is on site, you may also be offered an opportunity to tour the site. You may also be required to attend a second interview to meet other managers or potential colleagues. All of these are excellent opportunities for you to evaluate the position on offer – and us as a prospective employer.

4. Further Requirements

You may be asked to undergo psychometric testing or a pre-employment medical check. The consultant will advise you of these requirements (if any) during the recruitment process.

5. References

You must be able to provide us with at least two recent, acceptable, and contactable referees who can confirm your background and experience.

6. The Offer

If your application is successful we will, in the first instance, make you a verbal offer of employment. If you accept, the hiring manager will send you a letter of offer and contract for you to review and sign.
