Formica Corporation Showcases New Surface Options for Commercial Applications at NeoCon 2019
Wireless charging and wall protection surfaces highlight Formica Corp. Booth 7-3022
CINCINNATI (June 10, 2019) — Formica Corporation, a leader in surfacing for commercial and residential applications, kicks off its NeoCon exhibit (Booth 7-3022) today at The Mart in Chicago, with a wide range of advanced surfacing products that not only look beautiful but perform to meet the demanding and varied needs of commercial settings.

Intentek™ Wireless Charging Surface
Intentek™ Wireless Charging Surface is a Formica® Laminate surface that can wirelessly charge Qi-compatible mobile phones simply by placing devices on it. Intentek™ Laminate is intended for horizontal applications in commercial spaces, including hospitality, retail, health care, education and office settings. Intentek™ sets itself apart from competitors by using charging coils embedded in the laminate, creating no interruption in the design. Not only does this make the product more aesthetically pleasing than those by competitors, but it is less susceptible to damage. Intentek™ Wireless Charging Surface will launch in late 2019.
HardStop™ Decorative Protection Panels
HardStop™ Decorative Protection Panels are impact-resistant, high-performance wall panels that blend ease of installation with a full range of design selections that coordinate perfectly with other Formica® Laminate products. Unlike traditional laminate that contains a paper core, HardStop™ Panels feature a treated fiberglass core for added durability, strength and fire resistance. HardStop™ Panels are Class A fire-rated and can be applied directly to drywall and many other substrates. They are perfect for vertical applications in settings such as hospitals, restaurants, schools, universities, airports and elevators.
Both Intentek™ and HardStop™ are available in the full range of Formica® Laminates, allowing designers to create a coordinated look throughout an entire design.
