About FENIX® Innovative Materials

Created in Italy by Arpa Industriale in 2013, FENIX® represents a new generation of surface materials for interior design. Inspired by the legend of the Phoenix and its power of regeneration, FENIX® combines technological innovation with Italian design to create surfaces that are both beautiful and durable.

FENIX® products are created by a pressing process in which heat and pressure are applied simultaneously to obtain a homogeneous, non-porous product. Through proprietary technology, the materials undergo a series of processes to achieve their unique surface properties, including a multilayer coating and use of next-gen acrylic resins, which are then hardened and fixed through Electron Beam Curing (EBC). Made from over 60% paper and 30-40% thermosetting resins, FENIX® surfaces have four distinctive qualities:

  • Extremely matte appearance with low light reflectivity
  • Soft touch surface that feels smooth and inviting
  • Anti-fingerprint technology for a consistently aesthetic look
  • Thermal healing of superficial micro-scratches to restore the surface over time

The FENIX® system continues to evolve with new materials, colors, and interior solutions, including NanoTech Matte (NTM), NanoTech Alloy (NTA), and NTM Bloom. Designed for both residential and commercial interiors, FENIX® brings innovation, elegance, and long-lasting performance to every space.
