How to Repair Superficial Micro-Scratches on FENIX® Surfaces

When we created FENIX® materials, a breakthrough chapter in the story of interior design was written. And still today, their matte appearance continues to impress. They are pleasingly soft touch, leaving no fingerprints. FENIX® materials are durable and strong. They are created for everyday life and stand out of their unrivalled high resistance to scratches. However, even in case light scratches occur, it is possible to thermal heal the surface.

When it comes to the kitchens, bathrooms and offices in homes and commercial spaces, a little bit of wear and tear is to be expected. Not to worry, though, here at FENIX® we have clear instructions on how to take care of our surface materials, from everyday cleaning tips to how to fix micro-scratches.

• Place a paper towel on the area and spray it with water
• Iron over the paper towel (using a hot iron)
• Remove the paper towel
• Wipe dry with a microfiber cloth

Before following these instructions, please verify whether your matte surface is FENIX®. Be aware that not all matte surface that look similar have the same resistance as FENIX®. When in doubt, the supplier of your piece of furniture will be able to clarify if it is FENIX®.
