Date Completed: 2023

Bold F1238 Carnaval Formica® Laminate formed part of a stunning installation alongside 3 Homapal Metals at the 11th edition of Starlite Music Festival in Marbella, Spain. Héctor Ruiz Velázquez, the renowned architect was responsible for the designs.

Key focus areas within the festival space including the restaurant, bars and washrooms were transformed using a mixture of bold red Formica® Laminate, Homapal metals and clever lighting to create a mixture of stunningly creative design concepts.

“The power of red captures our attention in a remarkable way and greatly stimulates the sense of sight. We used red as a sign of power and nobility whilst associating with other conflicting emotions such as passion, love, fury and even, in some oriental cultures, happiness. We used high-performance Formica® Laminate panels in a red colour and seasoned the retro and futuristic light scenery with neons that frame the shape of the architectural design.”
