A Spirit of Togetherness and Collaboration

There was a palpable sense of camaraderie this past June at NeoCon 2022 in Chicago. As you’ll hear in the video below, the designers we spoke with noted their excitement to be back together in person as they collaborated on defining the latest industry trends.

Blending Commercial and Residential Environments

The convergence of home and office environments was front and centre at NeoCon with the need to support hybrid work models and desire for cozy, quiet, healthy workplaces. As Formica Corporation’s Managing Principal Design Renee Hytry Derrington says, “This category loves solving problems. You have to solve problems to bring people back into the office environment.”

Watch this video recap to learn about the prominence of biophilic design and sustainability as well as how an updated slate of textures, colours and patterns are making inroads into modern spaces.
