Four Formica® Laminates from the Formica® Collection transform a residential kitchen project with bespoke carpentry. Laminate was chosen to create kitchen doors, shelves, worktops and even an accessible spice rack and a matching dining table. All decors chosen featured a Matte58 finish offering a smooth texture that provides low-level light reflection and minimal maintenance for the owner.
Using decors from the Formica Collection allowed the designer and joiner to reduce waste by utilising large sheet sizes to create multiple elements from each sheet. With over 250 stunning colours, natural woodgrains and unique patterns to choose from, the collection has something to suit all interior design styles for residential or commercial projects.
HPL can be bonded to many substrates to create a desired effect, this example shows the coloured laminate sheets bonded to raw birchply with exposed edges to further add to the stylish end result. Laminate is an ideal surface for high traffic areas such as kitchens due to it being easy to clean, whilst maintaining its bold colours and natural woodgrain.
