Formica® Laminate - Reclaimed Products

Selecting materials with recycled content helps reduce the impacts associated with the use of virgin materials. Below is a list of Formica® Laminate decors that use reclaimed materials.

9684 Natural Recycled Kraft and 9685 Black Recycled Kraft utilize 100% recycled pulp and natural additives like recycled chaff from coffee bean roasting, recycled coffee bean bags and some peat moss dirt; this technical paper was produced to be an authentic laminate version of kraft paper. This paper technique uses small-batch craft production so that each sheet is unique and natural and will highlight the true additives with fibers and speckles embedded. Due to the uniqueness of the paper, these colors will not postform.

9271 Reclaimed Denim Fiber is a real reclaimed denim fiber from cloth production mills, embedded in paper. Not one sheet is exactly alike due to the natural paper making process. This may be seen in a slight color shift or as a slight linear direction to the laminate sheet. Due to the uniqueness of the paper, this color will not postform.

8812 Tinted Paper Terrazzo and 8813 Tonal Paper Terrazzo utilize small fragments of post-production solid color paper that would otherwise have gone to waste, these paper chips are re-used to create a new paper sheet that is 30% reclaimed material.  This paper technique uses small-batch craft production so that each sheet is unique and natural. Due to the uniqueness of the paper, this color will not postform.
