Formica Corp. to Host Area Students for National Manufacturing Day

Students encouraged to consider careers in manufacturing and engineering

CINCINNATI (October 3, 2018) — Formica Corporation, the inventor of laminate, will host Reading High School and University of Cincinnati students this Friday, October 5, 2018, in conjunction with National Manufacturing Day. The national event is operated at a local level to change people’s perceptions about today’s manufacturing environment and draw attention to the outstanding opportunities that a career in manufacturing can provide.

The students will tour Formica Corporation’s Evendale plant and hear from current employees about the various careers and career paths available in manufacturing, engineering and plant management.
