In February 2024, Fundación Aladina joined forces with Formica Group to bring a touch of artistic brilliance to the paediatric oncology wing of Hospital Clínico de Valencia in Spain.

This inspiring project by multidisciplinary artist Antonyo Marest has transformed six hospitalisation rooms, two transplant rooms, and an office within the paediatric oncology area into vibrant, healing spaces using laminate panels by Younique® by Formica Group.

Antonyo Marest created a harmonious and uplifting environment for young patients and their families. His distinctive style, characterised by the psychology of shapes and colours, generates emotionally positive spaces that act as windows to the outside world, offering a colourful Mediterranean-inspired landscape. The use of laminate materials ensures durability and easy maintenance, crucial for hospital settings.

The partnership between Fundación Aladina and Formica Group exemplifies a shared vision of enhancing the health and well-being of children, providing them with a more comforting and stimulating environment during their treatment journey. The creative versatility of laminates provided by Younique played a vital role in achieving this vision, showcasing how innovative materials can transform healthcare spaces.
