Formica Canada Inc. Launches the Design My Formica® Booth Competition

Next generation of designers invited to create a booth design featuring new Formica® products

Montreal, Canada, September 24, 2018 — New this year, the Design My Formica® Booth Competition invites Ontario’s interior design and architecture students to put their creativity to work by designing a booth for the Architect@Work tradeshow featuring Formica® products for a chance to win cash prizes and have their design created and showcased at the 2019 show in Toronto.

Within the scope of the competition, students will design an innovative 8' x 8' x 8' booth concept, using three Formica® Laminate collections: DecoMetal®, Formica Infiniti® ColorCore®2 and HardStop™. The booth should attract attention as well as highlight these collections, which will soon feature several new designs and colours. Six new DecoMetal® designs and four new Formica Infiniti® ColorCore®2 colours, will be officially launched on November 5th, 2019.

A distinguished panel of industry and design professionals will judge the work of today’s up-and-coming talent and includes Maria Bannon Turvey, Formica Canada Inc. Ontario A&D Specialist, Formica Canada Inc. Marketing Team members and Linda Kafka, Marketing and Sales Manager at Architect@Work Toronto and IDC board member.
