Keilhauer designs and manufactures its chairs, lounge seating and tables for offices, public spaces and collaborative environments. Sustainability directly shapes how products are designed and built. The company prioritizes a rigorous selection of responsible materials, extends product lifespan, and adopts strategies focused on carbon reduction and storage. This approach is grounded in life cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental product declarations (EPDs), which help measure — and transparently communicate — a product’s environmental impacts.

It also places strong emphasis on the safe management of chemical substances and on responsible wood sourcing, as an FSC® ‑certified manufacturer.
