The winner of the competition is Louise Holmström for the pattern "Forrest". The goal with the competition was to create a new pattern for Formica laminate. The competition was arranged to celebrate Sigvard Bernadottes well-known pattern VirrVarr which celebrate 50 years.

Sigvard Bernadottes Virrvarr firar 50 år med designtävling
I år fyller Sigvard Bernadottes välkända mönster Virrvarr 50 år. Det firar laminattillverkaren Formica genom att arrangera designtävlingen Formica Impress Design Award 2008. Tävlingen går ut på att skapa ett mönster till Fomicas laminat och kommer att utlysas på Stockholm Furniture Fair den 6-10 februari.
