Formica Group has been honored by David Weekley Homes, the second largest for-profit private homebuilder in America, with the prestigious Partner of Choice Award for an “A” rating in service for the past 12 months. Formica Group is one of 18 suppliers and only one of two laminate manufacturers to receive the Partner of Choice Award.
The award is based on David Weekley Homes’ National Trading Partner Survey, which was first implemented in 2004 to achieve channel alignment of all parties within the supply chain. The company’s 150 suppliers are rated quarterly on both quality and service by Team Members at all levels in the David Weekley organization. Each suppliers’ numeric scores are averaged, and an alpha ranking is assigned relative to its standing with David Weekley’s other national trading partners. Alpha rankings range from A to F in 20 percent increments. Each supplier receives a quarterly score card that provides detailed information on their performance.
