Understanding Colour at UK Construction Week

Colour is integral to our world and studies indicate that our sensory perception of colour greatly influences our reaction to architecture.

With the relevance of colour to the architectural environment in mind, UK Construction Week, the UK's largest construction trade event, will hold a seminar entitled 'Understanding Colour' on 11th Oct from 14:25 – 14:45pm (Birmingham NEC).

As part of the Surface & Materials Show at UK Construction Week, the seminar, hosted by Emma Cordiner, European Innovation Manager at Formica Group, will address all aspects of colour. From classification and standards to how colour is measured and the challenge of communicating colour the medium without visuals, the talk will look at the theory and science behind the concept.
