Formica Group will showcase award-winning, design-led décors from its new Collection at Retail Design Expo (9-10 March, Olympia, London), Europe’s leading event for designers, visual merchandisers, and shopfitters looking for innovation and inspiration.

The Formica Group stand (Q3) will feature a selection of 113 new designs ideal for retail application; displaying the versatility of the new Collection across environments including beauty and cosmetics, fashion, and supermarkets.

Formica® laminate has been specified for projects by respected brands such as Hugo Boss, Topshop, Diptyque, MAC Cosmetics, and Estee Lauder. Meeting the demand for on-trend luxurious retail displays, the Formica Group stand will highlight its many colour and texture offerings, including Concrete Formwood from the TrueScale range.


Capturing the authenticity of real concrete, Concrete Formwood contains no repetition across the width of the laminate sheet making it ideal for large retail application where the pattern can unfold to create a stunning visual feature. Further enhancing the authenticity of the décor is a honed texture that mimics the typical roughness of the natural material.

In addition, innovative textures such as the red dot award-winning Plex™ will be on display, including Just Gold Plex™, which also boasts one of the latest colour additions to the versatile and customisable ColorCore® range. 

Among the premium products on display will be Frosted Jade. With a surface treatment that offers abrasion and scuff resistance, Frosted Jade incorporates a pearlescent effect to create a luxurious and precious aesthetic.


The Formica Group stand will also feature videos showing examples of Formica laminate in retail environments.

Providing beautiful and functional surfaces, the new Formica® Collection suits all requirements of retail design, where practicality, durability, high-end and long-term visual appearance is key.
