Formica Marketing Manager, Chris Knight, said this latest update is the biggest revamp to the Formica Colour Range in recent history.

“Shaped by extensive customer research, product development and the latest interior trends, the new Formica Colour Range is a harmonised portfolio of decorative laminates that offer a depth in colour choice, patterns, woodgrains and finishes”.

“It’s on-trend, relevant and timeless and can be used to create modern and classic interiors. It offers homeowners, renovators and design professionals a comprehensive choice of vertical and horizontal applications that are suitable for homes and commercial applications.”

The popularity of white interiors continues to grow. The introduction of Crystal White allows homeowners and renovators to embrace the white trend in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and living areas.

New solids, Malibu and Baikal extend the variety of subtle warm light grey neutrals available in the range and expand the possibilities to create fashionable and functional spaces.

For a fraction of the cost, Metropolitan Concrete and Grey Kashmir allow homeowners and renovators to create the on-trend look of concrete benchtops. Likewise, Brushed Zinc and Brushed Nickel help create the new brushed metals look without the hassle of maintaining a metal surface, but with the durability of a laminate surface.

Woodgrains continue to be a firm favourite in living areas and commercial spaces and can be used in both horizontal and vertical applications. Bringing deep, organic and smoky tones to interiors, Cinnamon Ash, Charred Woodline and Cuban Wood together with new pattern designs of Burnt Strand, Mocha Strand and Sarum Strand, can be partnered with moody greys like Sarum Grey and Finesse Taupe for an on-trend look.

Ideal for benchtops, a range of stone patterns vary from the fine-speckled look of White Finestone, Grey Finestone and Black Finestone to the traditional granite looks of Venetian Gold Granite and Jamocha Granite, all of which can be mixed and matched with the solids and woodgrain options available in the Formica Colour Range for a contemporary kitchen.

A clever addition to the Formica offering is the new magnetic metallic laminates in Glossy White and Matt Black finishes. Glossy White is the perfect answer for your magnetic whiteboard surfaces in areas like busy kitchens, kid’s bedrooms , laundries and collaborative commercial office spaces and education facilities, while Matt Black can be used to create magnetic chalk blackboards in kitchen areas and hospitality and retail fitouts.

Reflecting current trends, the Formica® Colour Range has a solution for every application. All products within the Formica® range are designed to be mixed and matched and are backed by a seven year limited warranty to help create perfect interiors that last.
